Here's one of the many poems I wrote about my classmates. I just started writing about all of them for the heck of it. I had no intention to post them online, until my friend Ricky wheedled me into it.So, here's the first of my Topaz Poetry, about two classmates who drive each other up the wall, and love doing it (and hell no, they are so not a couple! Don't get any ideas).
Quintin & Anna
"Hey Anna, you know, yesterday, when - ?""Oh please, Quintin, shut up!""Hahaha! Catch me if you can, Anna!""Quintin!"
An argument is heardOver the typical classroom babbleSome stop from daily life to watchThe argument that stops, goes, stops, goes.
But reflect, if you willOn the two beings you are confronted withThey are as different as night and dayBut are as close as B and A.
Well, Q and A, anyway.
They are so different, yet so alike.Short and stout. Tall and thin.Irritatingly honest. Sarcastic.Firmly studious. Happy-go-lucky sporty.
And both drive each other up the wall.A day won't pass without at least one argumentBut everyone knows, it's all in fun.
And soon, it is heardOver the typical classroom babble. And some stop from daily life to watchThe end of the argument that stops, goes, stops, goes.
"Oh, just stop it already, Quintin!""Hey, Anna, I'm sorry! Aww... come on!""Oh, alright, fine."
It is resolvedAnd everyone shrugs their shoulders with a smileAnd goes back to daily life
Then, two minutes later...
"Hey Anna, you know, yesterday, when - ?""Oh please, Quintin, shut up!""Hahaha! Catch me if you can, Anna!""Quintin!"~~ EruanneCurrent mood: highly amusedCurrent music: So Young by the Corrs
